Dear colleagues,

It is our pleasure to invite you to the 2021 International Symposium and Annual Meeting, at the BEXCO in Busan, Korea, on October 27-29, themed “Tailor to Fit: Food & Nutrition in New Era.”

This year marks the 50th anniversary of the foundation of the Korean Society of Food Science & Nutrition (KFN). Since its inception in 1971, KFN has served as the leader to research in food & nutrition, the supporter to improve human nutrition and health, and the center to make academic culture in food science and nutrition.

Despite our existing uncertain situation due to the COVID-19 pandemic, we have experienced continuity and even improvements in our academic interaction. This year, we aim to strive to maximize our symposium participation. The diverse programs will provide a stimulating platform for discussing the important issues and topics, in food and nutrition, with global academic and industrial experts. Participants, including the students, will engage in poster competitions, oral presentation, and food product development sessions.

We’re looking forward to an excellent meeting with world-renowned scientists and industrial experts and sharing new and exciting results in 2021 KFN meeting.
